Why consider a non surgical alternative?
What is a Liquid Facelift?
The liquid facelift is intended to provide a gentle lift of the features, improve the appearance of wrinkles and folds, create a more rested, less tired or angry appearance, and improve or enhance facial contours. Typically this involves Botox which can be used to relax the muscles around the eyes to reduce a tired or angry appearance, or even to “open up” and lift the eyes. Fillers are then used to contour, enhance or restore specific regions. When precisely placed, the fillers can be used to improve any number of features. Each filler has an optimal area of correction and it may be necessary to use more than one product to achieve the desired result.

- Juvederm® Ultra
- Juvederm® Ultra Plus
- Juvederm® Volbella
- Juvederm® Voluma
The improvement can be subtle to remarkable. Healthy skin creates the foundation for an aesthetically pleasing result, and as always, the treatment is customized to fit your needs and goals, taking into account your unique facial features, skin laxity, loss of volume and any skin damage that may be present. The treatment is performed in the comfort of the office, with a rapid return to routine activities.
Why is a Liquid Facelift ideal for me?
A liquid facelift is ideal for the person who is not ready for surgery, who does not want surgery or does not have the time for surgery. In the younger patient it will restore fullness to the cheeks, define the jaw bones, reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Sometimes, in the older patient, there is significant laxity, sun damage or loss of definition which can be improved with a liquid facelift, but requires additional measures such as Ultherapy, Coolsculpting, Kybella, CO2 laser resurfacing or others to provide maximal improvement. A surgical facelift may still be needed to restore the structural support.
What risks are involved with a Liquid Facelift?
There is little downtime associated with a non invasive liquid facelift. There may be some swelling or bruising and mild tenderness. We recommend taking Arnica to reduce these symptoms.
What are the disadvantages of a Liquid Facelift?
A liquid facelift is an excellent procedure that creates subtle natural looking improvements. The results are less dramatic than seen with surgery. It has little effect on the neck unless combined with other procedures. Unlike a facelift which confers long term improvement, a liquid facelift lasts several months and needs to be repeated regularly to maintain optimal results.
Am I a good candidate for a Liquid Facelift?
The ideal candidate for a liquid facelift is someone who has mild to moderate laxity or who has had a previous facelift and is looking for a touch up. All the components of the procedure can be used independently to target specific areas and produce isolated improvements. The true liquid facelift will target all problem areas and may not achieve the same results as surgery.
