Are you bothered by age spots? Cryocorrect is a new treatment that gently freezes away age spots, sun spots and skin tags in as little as one treatment.
True Beauty Med Spa in Short Hills, NJ
CryoCorrect is a fast and accurate treatment for smaller age spots, sun spots and skin tags. The treatment uses a fine micro jet of CO2 gas to freeze away the darkly pigmented skin caused by prolonged sun exposure. This CO2 gas is gentle on the skin, not as cold as traditional liquid nitrogen. Our New Jersey CryoCorrect treatment takes only 5-8 seconds. It is well tolerated and targets only the superficial brown spots leaving the surrounding skin intact.
Beverly Friedlander, MD
CryoCorrect can be used on skin tags or small pigmented lesions anywhere on the body. It is most often used on the face, décolleté or hands. It should not be used on suspicious or unusual appearing lesions or in areas that are deeply tanned.
The area is cleansed first. During the treatment you will feel a cold sensation for 5-8 seconds. You will be given a triple antioxidant called Phloretin to apply generously after the procedure.
The phloretin enhances the removal of the pigment and the smoothing of the skin. It is important to apply sunscreen during the day. The CryoCorrect treatment spot will darken over a few hours and peel off in about 7-10 days, resulting in a light pink skin color, similar to what you might see after a sun burn. This fades to normal in a few weeks leaving the skin clear and smooth. On occasion, a 2nd treatment is needed.

Improvements with CryoCorrect can be seen in as little as 2-3 weeks. At this time, the darker skin has peeled off and the new skin is a light pink. This fades to flesh color on average in 4-6 weeks.
CryoCorrect is a personalized treatment tailored to each individual's unique needs.
The cost can vary based on factors such as the number of spots being treated and the specific techniques employed. Generally, pricing may start around $100 for a single spot, with packages available for multiple spots. This fee typically includes the treatment itself, but it's important to note that costs can vary by geographic location and the specific provider.
