I can’t quite put it into words, but Dr. Friedlander has completely changed the course of my life. As a young girl, I struggled with self confidence and participating in athletics because of my large chest. I tried to normalize the back pain, the disappointment of not fitting into “cute” clothes and the jokes made about my chest. When I finally decided to have a breast reduction this year, I saw a few other doctors before finding Dr. Bev. The way Dr. Bev approached my case was unlike the other doctors I met with; she was compassionate, informative and straight to the point. Not once did she comment on my weight or tell me to lose 30-40lbs before having the procedure (as other doctors did). She understood my desire to keep and love my curves, and that made my experience even better. I appreciated her understanding and appreciation of different body types! Everyone in the office, from the front desk to the surgical coordinators made my experience a breeze; I was always fully informed about every step of this journey. Yesterday, I had my surgery, and it was such a pleasant experience. I walked into the hospital with no nerves because Dr. Bev’s staff had put me at such ease. The entire staff at Overlook hospital cared for me like their own family member, and I am so grateful to every person who made this surgery so easy for me. I am not in pain at all; Dr. Bev’s pre-surgery instructions and medication regimen highly impacted how I feel now! My chest looks AMAZING and I am so so happy with the results. I can’t wait to see what they look like fully healed. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Bev enough; she has opened up my life. This surgery was worth every penny! She has given me so much confidence and excitement for this next chapter!
UPDATED REVIEW 10/18/23 Age 38, perimenopausal Hydrafacial with Alyssa is a must! She has taken my hormonal acne sun damaged skin and turned it into a face I’m so proud of. I do not wear make up except for my brows and lashes. Everyone complements my face and how rested I look. I’ve never had this experience with my appearance. I’m a beautiful human inside and now I feel it on the outside. See Alyssa ASAP, you won’t regret it. My review is based on a breast lift surgery with no implants. I’m 4’11 and a 34D. I’m 35 years old and have one school aged child. I will give you my experience from initial consultation to post surgery and hope this is useful for making your decision with Dr. Beverly Friedlander. I went to Dr. Bev due to saggy breast, which I’ve had since adolescents. I knew I wanted the surgery and figured this stage of my life was perfect. I made the initial appointment for a consultation and was greeted by a friendly support staff receptionist. I then met with Dr. Bev and was definitely nervous because this is something I never thought I would really have done. I will say, upon meeting her for the first time I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew immediately that she was an expert in her craft. You can tell that her mind is working on a game plan and I appreciated that about her. She told me that she would lift my breast without the need for an implant. She explained my type of breast and what she would do specifically for me. She reviewed my paperwork to make sure I was making a sound judgement and not an impulsive decision. She didn’t come into the office with an agenda to sell me on the surgery. She came in with a medical agenda and that’s what sold me as a patient. Afterwards, her support staff came in and we talked girl talk + the financials of it all. Courtney is definitely the bright face that alleviates the anxiety. The next day I completed the process by booking my surgery date and putting a down payment on the surgery. My experience only got better as we continued and had additional appointments. My pre-surgery visit was to take pictures of my breast, day of surgery I went in for markings and it was the BIG DAY! The results ladies, I have absolutely amazing BREASTS! I am so happy with the results. The surgery was not as painful as I feared, and I truly did have some fears. But I felt so secure under her care. My breasts never looked like this in my teens! I was prepared to be realistic about my results, but I was really blown away by how great they look. I have flashed my husband, mom and best friends. They all have the same reaction, wide eyed and stunned by how great they look. I am currently healing and Dr. Bev is still seeing me for post care. My size D breast actually fit my petite frame now and I can’t wait to enjoy them. I honestly thank Dr. Bev for her brilliance and the office staff for making me feel so comfortable. Ladies, this is a huge decision and a financial obligation that we are making. Don’t ever feel pressured or as though any doctor is trying to “sell you a product.” Dr. Beverly is trustworthy and she stands by her work. She even called me the night of my surgery to check on me. If you are considering it, go for it. I pray you all have the same results as me and that your confidence soars. This isn’t “just about breasts,” it’s so much more as a woman.
I had a procedure done by Dr Bev in 2020 and it was a really great experience. Having elective surgery in 2020 wasn’t ideal and the team at the office made the process very seamless and anxiety free. Their COVID precautions are great (temp checks, masks on, limited capacity waiting room, clear cleaning logs in view of patients, etc) and the office is very clean/well maintained. Dr Bev has a great bedside manner. She’s direct and efficient while also having the ability to assuage fears and be comforting when patients get nervous (which in my case was all the time). Her staff, particularly Courtney, are a great team. All of my questions were answered super quickly and the process was SO easy to understand and maneuver. They give you clear instructions on everything you need to do to be ready for surgery day and beyond. The surgery itself went really well. I had lipo and an arm lift on both arms. The day of and the recovery went off very well. At about 2 months out now, the results are really great already. I feel so much better about myself, having finally fixed a problem area that I wouldn’t have been able to resolve on my own through diet and exercise. The experience was very positive, the results are fantastic and I would go back to Dr Bev in a heartbeat for any future work.
Dr. Bev and her team have been stellar since my consultation for a breast lift with implants last September. I was referred to the office by a friend, and I am SO grateful she knew of the perfect doctor to go to for a surgery I’ve been considering for almost a decade. In January of this year I had my surgery, and at a month post op, I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. The whole team has been super helpful answering any questions I’ve had. As stated before Dr. Beverly is the best. I had an incredible experience yesterday. She has the best staff and I was more than pleased with the difference she made with fillers and Botox. My face is now back to gorgeous. Thank you so much! Happy New Year
She totally understands how to shape your face and bring you back to a more youthful look. I have had Botox in the past from her and I am going back soon to get more work done from this wonderful doctor.
After researching multiple plastic surgeons I decided to go with Dr.Bev for all her experience knowledge with breast work. I ended up getting a breast lift done and let me tell you Dr.Bev did everything I could of asked for and dreamed of! Her staff is excellent and super friendly. Shes an excellent surgeon and I would recommend her to anyone!
Where do I begin. It was 15 years of weight gain and weight loss with about 130lbs shed naturally to wear I was walking around with a huge flap of extra skin that was not pleasing to the eye or my sanity. Insert Dr. Friedlander – after my doctor told me there was nothing I could do to tighten the skin or even make it remotely better I reached out to Dr. Bev’s office and from the very start treated me as I was a patient for years. Dr. bevs sense of humor and knowledge/ experience really make working on a better you easy. I’m still healing but I can say that I’m so relieved and happy that I found dr. Bev and she was able to take something so negative in my life and turn it around. I have more confidence today then I did before this surgery and now I look more like the person I really am. Couldn’t be more grateful and happy for what dr. Bev and her office has done for me.
I highly recommend Dr. Friedlander and her staff. I had sculptra done and am very happy with the results. She is excellent with injections, which led to minimal discomfort and no bruising or swelling. i will definitely be returning yearly to maintain the wonderful results.
It has been almost three months since my breast augmentation with Dr. Friedlander and I am beyond grateful and ecstatic of my result!
